Beavis & Butthead – ‘real life’ sculptures

Posted in Art, Cartoon, TV with tags , , , , , , , , on April 20, 2013 by dc

I spotted these brilliant life-like sculptures on Facebook earlier. They’re based on what Beavis and Butthead might look like as ‘real’ kids.

The busts were created by Hollywood makeup and special effects artist Kevin Kirkpatrick (I think they were made last year sometime). Check out how detailed and cool they are:

Here’s a great poster from Kansas based designer and illustrator Ralph Cosentino. If it’s not called Mickeyzilla, then it should be. The illustration is part of Cosentino‘s series which mashes up Disney and Godzilla characters:

Maybe it’s a Masters Of The Universe vs The Masters golf-mash-up. Or maybe it’s just a coincidence…

The delightful image above was designed by Fabian Ciraolo. Check out more of his work here.

Here’s a great new inking from the paws of comedian Vic Reeves – spotted on yfrog via Twitter. It had me chuckling into my morning coffee a couple of days ago so I thought it only fair that I share it:

One presumes it’s a rather delightful portrait of British X-Factor pop-tarts, JLS.

You can check out more of Vic‘s recent inkings, doodles and paintings over at yfrog here.

Here’s a great new t-shirt design by the folks over at Threadless.com:

You can order one of these amusing t-shirts over at Threadless here.
