Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ trailer released

On the day millions of Americans are set to vote for their next President, the first trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s forthcoming Abraham Lincoln biopic, Lincoln has just been uploaded onto YouTube – check it out below:

Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader andTommy Lee Jones, the film focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery.

Lincoln is released in UK cinemas on January 25th, 2013.
