Sad news reaches us that legendary singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Bobby Womack has died aged 70. His career spanned over 50 years, took on countless styles and genres and influenced many. As yet the cause of his death is unknown. Check out a few¬†video highlights from Womack‘s incredibly influential career below:

Last December, months after the release of his debut album, singer-producer, Martijn William Zimri Teerlinck aka The Child Of Lov passed away aged just 26. Today, six months on a new video for Damon Albarn collaboration, One Day has appeared online. It’s rather¬†unsettling and odd – check it below:

Jeremy Paxman leaves Newsnight

Tonight saw Jeremy Paxman present his last ever Newsnight after a whopping 25 years at the helm. As a fond farewell here’s a high and a low. Firstly his famous interview with Michael Howard where Paxman asks him, “Did you threaten to overrule him?” a titillating twelve times:

…and on the flip-side an interview with Plaid Cymru politician, Dr Eurfyl ap Gwilym, where to be fair he gets well and truly ‘owned’ (a real rarity):

The Inbetweeners 2 – trailer

It was far from groundbreaking but the first Inbetweeners film did at least raise a few decent titters. Now the trailer for the film’s long anticipated sequel has appeared online and the makers “promise” that none of the best jokes are in it – check it out below:

The film reaches UK cinemas on the 6th August.
