Breaking Bad – Walt plushies

I came late to Breaking Bad. But the last two months have seen me catch up and get fully immersed in what has to be one of the greatest TV series ever made.

There’s very little Breaking Bad merchandise around, except for the odd t-shirt, hoody and obligatory key-ring. There are however, quite a few bits and bobs of fan-made merchandise doing the rounds. I’ve posted a photo of some amusing BB cupcakes, and many of you have probably also seen the occasional ‘meth’ doughnut too – but here’s a photo of three rather adorable Walt White plushies (or stuffed toys if you will) that 27 year old Canadian ‘fiber artist’ Michelle Coffee has designed:

Coffee‘s fiber art has been featured websites like the Huffington Post and Entertainment Weekly – you can check out more of her work here and/or visit her Facebook page here.

The Big Lebowski – Munnys

Christmas is getting closer. Do you know a Big Lebowski lover? Here’s the perfect gift.

The Little Lebowski Shop

Most films don’t end up with annual festivals celebrating their brilliance. Even fewer lead to their very own shop. The Big Lebowski though, is a very special film – it has both.

So, onto the latter. The photo below shows the shop front of Lebowski uber-fan, Roy Preston’s retail tribute to The Big Lebowski.

In November of 2007, Preston, along with his business partner, Nicholas Dollak opened a children’s book store in the heart of Greenwich Village, New York City. A month later, the American economy imploded and for the next two years their shop really struggled. Preston and Dollak tried a number of different ideas in the store – but nothing worked.

Until that is, Roy decided to stock Lebowski T-shirts. As fate would have it the Lebowski shirts were the only item in the store that sold. After months and months of failure, success finally seemed possible once more and The Little Lebowski Shop was born.

Great idea, duuude.

Check out their stock here.
